Casey Robertson works as the Lead Instructor for the Professional Development and Research Institute on Blindness at Louisiana Tech University. Casey holds national certification in Unified English Braille. She is also the VP of the National Parents of Blind Children Board and VP of National Blindness Professionals Certification Board. As part of her job at the university, she travels the country proving trainings and advocacy skills to parents and teachers in the blindness field. In her free time, Casey enjoys volunteering, kayaking, and riding her bike as well as taking care of her only daughter, Kylie.

Kristen Sims works as an Orientation and Mobility instructor and Structured Discovery Training Coordinator for the Professional Development and Research Institute on Blindness at Louisiana Tech University. Kristen taught in a public school system for 18+ years as a braille teacher and O&M instructor for children birth to 21. In her free time, Kristen is a soccer/dance mom for her two children and enjoys giving back to her community through volunteer work
