We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to assist the Executive Director with various administrative tasks and projects related to public events! You will gain hands-on experience in event coordination, project management, and administrative support, providing valuable assistance to ensure the smooth execution of events and daily operations.

As an Intern with Manifest Academy LLC, you will have the flexibility to work on a schedule that fits your availability. This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in event planning and administrative roles, and you will have a supportive manager who can provide mentorship and a letter of recommendation for your future career endeavors. You will assist with scheduling, communications, project management, and other administrative tasks as needed. We are looking to hire interns in San Antonio, TX, and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent part-time opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to gain experience in event management, administration, or nonprofit operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Director with administrative tasks, including scheduling, email correspondence, and document management.
  • Support the coordination of events, including logistics, communication with vendors, and on-site support.
  • Help with project management tasks, including tracking progress and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain an updated calendar and assist with organizing meetings and appointments.
  • Prepare and organize materials for meetings and events.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Executive Director and other team members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in business administration, event management, nonprofit management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team and take direction from senior staff.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with email communication.
  • Reliable transportation for attending events and meetings.
  • Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15 miles. Travel reimbursement may be offered for extended travel.
  • Must have access to a computer for completing administrative tasks.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
